FAQ
The questions we answer on the phone every week
Written the way we would say them across the counter. If your question is not here, send it through the quote form or call (615) 873-1244.
How much does a vehicle wrap cost?
It depends on three things: how much of the vehicle you cover, the size of the vehicle, and the complexity of the design. A set of door logos costs a fraction of a partial wrap, and a partial wrap costs well under a full wrap. A box truck takes more material and labor than a sedan.
Because those variables swing the price so widely, we quote each project individually instead of posting one-size-fits-all rates. Send us your vehicle year, make, and model with a few photos and a note about what you have in mind, and we will price your actual project. Quotes are free.
How long does a vehicle wrap last?
With proper care, the 3M films we install typically last 5 to 7 years on a vehicle. Sun exposure, washing habits, and whether the vehicle is parked outside all affect that number. Hand washing helps; automatic brushes and pressure washers aimed at edges shorten a wrap's life.
Do vehicle wraps damage paint?
On factory paint in good condition, no. The vinyl actually shields the paint underneath from sun fade and light abrasion, and it comes off cleanly when removed correctly. The caveat is existing damage: on repainted panels, rust, or peeling clear coat, removal can lift the weakened finish. We look at your vehicle's condition before we wrap it and tell you if anything is a concern.
Can you wrap a leased or financed vehicle?
Usually, yes. Wraps are removable, which is exactly why leased and financed vehicles get wrapped all the time. Check your lease agreement for any wording about vehicle modifications first. When the lease ends, the wrap comes off and the factory paint underneath is intact.
What is the difference between a full wrap, a partial wrap, and decals?
A full wrap covers the whole vehicle, paint to paint, and gives your design the most space to work with. A partial wrap covers a defined section, often the rear half or the sides, and blends into the vehicle's existing color. Decals and cut lettering are individual graphics applied directly to the paint: logos, phone numbers, DOT numbers, website addresses.
Plenty of businesses start with lettering or a partial and step up later. Which one fits depends on your budget and how much information you need the vehicle to carry. We will give you an honest recommendation either way.
Do you help with design, or do I need finished artwork?
Both work. If you have brand files, vector artwork (AI, EPS, or PDF) gives us the cleanest results, and we prepare the layout around your vehicle's actual panels, door handles, and body lines. If you are starting from nothing but an idea, our designers build the artwork from scratch. Either way, you approve a proof before anything gets printed.
Can you wrap an entire fleet?
Yes. Fleet work is a large part of what we do, from a pair of service vans to box trucks, semi-trailers, and buses. We keep your artwork on file so every vehicle matches and new additions can be wrapped to the same spec, whether that is next month or next year.
What kinds of signs do you make?
We are a full-service sign shop: storefront signs, banners, dimensional letters, pole signs, interior office signage, and event graphics. Common materials include aluminum, PVC, corrugated plastic, and acrylic, chosen to fit where the sign lives and how long it needs to last.
Can you install signs or graphics that were printed somewhere else?
Yes. We handle installation-only work regularly, including for out-of-town sign companies and agencies that need a reliable local crew for Nashville projects. Walls, windows, vehicles, retail interiors, event spaces: if it needs to go up straight and stay up, we install it.
Where are you located, and what area do you serve?
Our shop is at 1303 Central Ct in Hermitage, Tennessee, about 15 minutes east of downtown Nashville. We serve the greater Nashville area, and for sign and graphics installation we regularly work at businesses, venues, and event spaces across the region.
What should I include with my quote request?
For vehicle work: the year, make, and model, plus straight-on photos of each side you want covered. For walls, windows, and signs: a photo of the space and rough measurements. Add your logo or artwork files if you have them. None of this is required to start the conversation, but the more you include, the faster and more accurate your quote will be.
How long does the process take?
It varies with the scope of the project and our production schedule, so we confirm timing when we quote. The sequence is the same for every job: quote, design and proof, print, then install. If you have a hard deadline, an event date, or a vehicle you cannot take off the road for long, tell us up front and we will plan around it.
Have a question about your specific project?
Tell us what you want to wrap, letter, print, or install. Quotes are free, and photos of your vehicle or space help us get you an accurate number fast.
